The outdoor unit is usually mounted on a wall bracket or a ground stand close to the indoor unit. We'll discuss positioning, appearance, noise and access with you during the survey.

Many domestic installations fall under permitted development in England, but conditions apply — for example around listed buildings, conservation areas, unit size and position, and proximity to boundaries. We'll flag anything to check, and you may need to confirm with your local planning authority.

Manufacturers commonly recommend regular maintenance, often annually, and this may be a condition of their warranty. Check your manufacturer's guidance — we can help you understand what's required for your system.

Most rooms can be made comfortable, but size, glazing, insulation, wall construction and electrical supply all matter. A survey lets us give honest advice — including if air conditioning isn't the right fit.
