What's involved
Consultation, survey, sizing, installation and aftercare
Consultation. We start by understanding the room and the problem — too hot, too cold, or both.
Survey. We assess dimensions, glazing, insulation, wall construction, electrics and where the indoor and outdoor units could go.
Sizing. Capacity is matched to the room rather than guessed from floor area, so the system runs steadily and quietly.
Installation & aftercare. Neat pipe and cable routing, testing and a full handover — including how to use heating mode and look after filters.

FAQs
Installation questions
How long does an installation take?
It depends on the property, the number of rooms and the route for pipework and cabling. We'll give you a realistic timescale after the survey rather than guessing beforehand.
Where does the outdoor unit go?
The outdoor unit is usually mounted on a wall bracket or a ground stand close to the indoor unit. We'll discuss positioning, appearance, noise and access with you during the survey.
Do I need planning permission?
Many domestic installations fall under permitted development in England, but conditions apply — for example around listed buildings, conservation areas, unit size and position, and proximity to boundaries. We'll flag anything to check, and you may need to confirm with your local planning authority.
Is my room suitable?
Most rooms can be made comfortable, but size, glazing, insulation, wall construction and electrical supply all matter. A survey lets us give honest advice — including if air conditioning isn't the right fit.
